Party in Pink

"A goodbye isn't painful unless you're never going to say hello again." So as Candice prepares to head north to chilly Canada; her girls rallied together and pulled out all the stops to give her a warm, intimate farewell bash with loads of fun....LADIES style.

From the candy buffet to the decadent desserts guests were "treated" to a "Girls Night Out" in PINK, PINK and more PINK. Check out how it all came together.

Giddy Up...Yeehaw!

It is my personal philosophy that when brainstorming potential themes for an event it is important to choose one that reflects the personality of the honoree and is appropriate for the occasion. So when we began planning a farewell party for Dina, a self-proclaimed country girl from the small town of Atascadero, CA, we decided a Country Western theme would guarantee a YEE-HAW good time!

We designed the invitations using lots of western/country elements and even included a "WANTED" poster on the invite. The stationery for the party included custom favor tags, which were affixed to round mints tins holding red, coated chocolate balls, custom food and drinks menus. The decor included cowboy ropes, a cactus, lots of bandannas and custom-made candles. We served a typical BBQ meal of ribs, chicken, shish-kabobs, corn-on-the-cob, and baked beans, and even asked all the guests to arrive in their best Country Cool Attire!!

As Dina leaves Florida and heads West....we hope she enjoyed the DTI way of wishing her "Happy Trails"!

Beach Wedding Stationery

We recently had a blast designing stationery for an April bride married by the seashore. Her color palette of aqua, ivory and tan and was heavily influenced by her overwhelming love of the water and sand. We created pocketfold wedding invitations, raffia-tied wedding programs and starfish placecards.
